Itinerary
Arrival of your flight at Kigali International Airport, meet and greet assistance, you will be warmly
welcomed by our representative outside customs and immigration hall, Safari briefing then transfer
to hotel for check-in.
Overnight stay at Grazia apartment Hotel (Meal plan: Bed and Breakfast)
After breakfast, we will depart from hotel around for a Kigali city seeing tour where we shall have
a chance to visit different places like Kigali Genocide memorial, campaign against museum
(CAG), and you can be able to visit local market for buying some gifts and souvenirs, from there
you will drive back to hotel for dinner and overnight.

After a cup of the finest Rwandan coffee/tea, your driver guide will head you to eastern part of Rwanda
in Akagera national park for a full game drive from the southern part of the park to the Northern part.
you will start with a boat excursion on Lake Ihema, which will take you to the island that is inhabitant
to several species of birds. Lining the lakes are some of the continent’s densest concentrations of water
birds, while the connecting marshes are the haunt of the endangered and exquisite papyrus gonolek,
and the bizarre shoebill stork - the latter perhaps the most eagerly sought of all African birds. After
your boat excursion you will continue with game drive offers you the opportunity to spot a variety of
wild animals such as elephants, buffalos, lions, Masai giraffe, gazelles, impala, baboons, oribi,
Butchel’s zebra, topi, bush baby, leopard and bushbuck not to forget water lovers like Crocodiles and
Hippos, coupled with large concentration of bird life; over 525 species identified. After the game drive
we will exit from the northern gate and back to Kigali.

Rise up very early in the morning at 04:00AM and have breakfast and thereafter proceed
to Volcano National Park in Musanze district. Head straight to the park offices for briefing
about the gorillas and allocation of Gorilla groups and guides. Thereafter get into the
tropical rain forest and search for the mountain gorillas starting from where they were the
previous day until you find them. You will find them doing their daily chores of feeding
their young ones, climbing trees and others just relaxing take your best photographs having
switched off your flash. This whole exercise takes a maximum of 1 hour and then return
to hotel/Lodge for Lunch. Check in the hotel for tour refreshment and relaxing then
overnight.
Overnight stay at Classic resort (Meal plan: Bed and Breakfast)
Today after your breakfast, we will start a road trip heading to Karongi, on your way you will
experience the landscape of Rwanda with rolling mountain full of tea plantation as you enjoy the
beautiful view of lake kivu. After arriving to Karongi you will check in hotel then have your lunch.
after you will come down on the lake shore where your boat will be waiting for you take you around
on the lake, during this lake tour you will be able to visit different islands found in lake kivu and
you will have a chance to hike one of the beautiful island which is the tallest island among others,
we will end this day by returning back to hotel then have dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight stay at Cormoran Lodge (Meal plan: Bed and Breakfast)
Breakfast at the hotel at 06:00AM and after depart for Nyungwe through nyamasheke and Rusizi with
spectacular views of Lake Kivu. Arrive at Nyungwe reception. You will be met by the park guide at
the reception for check-in an have briefing about the activity. the canopy walk experience. Suspended
above ravine amidst the lush vegetation and montane forest of the Nyungwe National Park, Canopy
Walk offers participants an exhilarating perspective atop the ancient treetops and wildlife. The 160
meters long suspended bridge is accessible as a part of a guided hike along the Igishigishigi trail or
those hiking the Imbaraga and Umuyove trails. The activity will take about 2hours and after you have
your lunch and we continue heading back to Kigali, check- in the hotel and dinner, then overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel, check-out, after you will have time to do some shopping in craft centers
for viewing and purchasing souvenirs i.e. Kaplaki, Gahaya links, House of Tayo etc.
Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for
your outbound flight
