Tour overview
This is a private 7 days private trip in Uganda starting from Entebbe with the aim of experiencing the primates
of Uganda, in both Kibale National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Another interesting visited sites include
Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drive and wildlife experience.
Itinerary
At your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company guide and transfer to Hotel for
dinner and overnight. Accommodation Option:
Budget: Cycads Guest House / Karibu Guest House / Airport Guest House. Mid-Range: Admas Grand Hotel /
Imperial Hotel Entebbe. Luxury. Protea Hotel Entebbe / Hotel Number 5.
After breakfast, transfer towards the Southwestern part of Uganda along a tarmac road to Kibale. Lunch en route with stopovers at interesting sites. Arrival at lodge and an evening walk to the crater lakes.
Note: The distance between Entebbe and Kibale Forest is around 350 km and 5 hrs drive.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Kibale. Accommodation Option:

Kibale National Forest is located in Western Uganda in Kabarole district, it covers an area of about 353 sqkm and an
altitude of about 1,100m – 2,600m. Apart from the chimpanzees, kibale forest also is home to other primate species
like Olive baboons, black-and-White Colobus Monkeys ,red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys and many mammals like
Forest Elephants, buffalos etc.
After breakfast, go for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. The activity starts at 0800hrs with a briefing from
the rangers and local guides. Depending on the availability of permits, chimpanzee trekking can be done in the
morning or midday. After return to lodge for lunch and refreshment. After lunch we do a community walk in Bigodi
Community in Kibale to get closer to the people in the community.

After breakfast, transfer towards kasese then to Queen Elizabeth National Park along a distance of about 150km and
a drive of about 2 hrs. Arrival and mid-morning game drive in the park, lunch at lodge.
In the afternoon, we do the magnificent boat excursion along Kazinga Channel, this offers us another opportunity to
view wild animals as they graze along the banks of the channel.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Kasese or Queen Elizabeth. Accommodation Options:

Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, it is one of the country's most popular and diverse
wildlife reserves. It spans over 1,978 square kilometres and is known for its stunning landscapes, including
savannahs, wetlands, and tropical forests. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions,
buffaloes, hippos, and a wide range of bird species.
After breakfast, transfer through Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi impenetrable forest. The duration of the
transfer depends on the location / sector of the gorilla permits assigned. Lunch at lodge and free evening.
Dinner and overnight in Bwindi. Accommodation Options:

Note: The distance from Entebbe to Bwindi is about 450km depending on the sector and the transfer is for a full day.
After an early morning breakfast, we go for gorilla trekking, starting with the briefing from the rangers at 0800 hours. It
is necessary to take packed lunch, surgical masks, hiking boats. After trekking and debrief return to lodge for dinner
and overnight. Accommodation Options:

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is located in southwestern Uganda, near the borders of Rwanda and the Democratic
Republic of Congo. It is one of the most biologically diverse and ecologically significant rainforests in the world,
covering about 321 square kilometres of rugged terrain.
It is home to approximately half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, making it a prime destination for gorilla
trekking. In addition to gorillas, Bwindi is rich in wildlife, including other primates, birds, reptiles, and a variety of plant
species, many of which are endemic to the region.
Gorilla Trekking can be carried out in one of the allocated sectors Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga y Nkuringo.
A porter is included in the program.

After breakfast, return to Entebbe, stopover at Equator and lunch en route. Dinner is included in a local restaurant in
Entebbe.
Note: The distance from Bwindi to Entebbe is about km 430 depending on the sector and it’s a full day transfer. It’s
advisable to book night flights from 2100hrs, clients usually arrive in Entebbe at 1900 hours.
No hotel is booked in Entebbe.
